One of the ways to do so is by anticipating the expected changes in future and adapting the existing business processes in a practical manner, to improve performance and achieve long- term competitive advantage. To do this we must work together with the common vision of developing business and industry to one with an international reputation for excellence and professionalism in hospitality.The major initiative under the aegis of Clarks Centre for Excellence presently is the Professional Hotel Education (PHE) Programme.

The PHE Programme has two variants:

• Diploma in Professional Hotel Education: 3 Years full time 

Programme  is a three-year comprehensive training programme in one of the Clarks group hotels where learning- training in hotel operations is coupled with the opportunity to graduate with a combination of the following two:

• A practical and systematic programme of training in real hotel working environment leading to a Diploma in Professional Hotel Education from Clarks Group of Hotels.
• Support will be provided to students to pursue Bachelor of Tourism Studies degree from Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU).

• Certificate in Professional Hotel Education: 1 Year full time

The Programme is one year full time specialization in one of the following:

• Front Office 
• House-Keeping 
• Food & Beverage Service
• Culinary Arts

By being specialist in one area, students will remain focused and have mastery in their respective trades.  By specializing in one particular area within 12 months, students can start work immediately after their training and earn faster.

You will receive not just hands-on training in real hotel working environment in the various departments of Hotel Clarks, but also capsule courses in communication skills, personality development, and computer skills by internal and external trainers.  We ensure that the training provided is absolutely in sync with the industry requirements.

Commencement: The First Batch of PHE Programme (2007-2010) had begun in August 2007, II Batch of PHE Programme (2008-2011) in July 2008, III Batch of PHE Programme (2009-2012) in July 2009 at Hotel Clarks Amer. The IV Batch of PHE Programme began in July 2010.

Now Batch V of PHE Programme is being offered at Jaipur and Gurgaon from July 2011.
