Khas Mahal, The Musamman Burj, Diwan-i-Khas, Diwan-i-Aam
and the Moti Masjid.

Akbar's mausoleum
is a majestic composition in deep red sandstone and
marble and was completed by his son Jehangir. The
monument is a perfect mix of Hindu, Christian, Islamic,
Buddhist and Jain motifs. The Tomo has Three-storey-minarets
which was built in red sandstone and has exquisite inlay
work, which rise from the four corners of the tomb.
There is a beautiful garden around.
The tombstone of Akbar lies in the middle of Akbar's
daughters, Shakrul Nisha Begum and Aram Bano. |

Fatehpur Sikri:

A masterpiece of
Architecture, Fatehpur Sikri was the creation of Mughal
Emperor Akbar to celebrate the birth of his son. The
city was constructed in gratitude to Sheikh Salim Chisti.
The enchanting marble tomb of Sheikh Salim Chisti still
draws thousands who seek the blessings of the saint.
Other places of interest are Diwan-i-Aam, Diwan-i-Khas,
Buland Darwaza, Panch Mahal, Jodha Bai's Palace and
Birbal Bhawan. Annual Urs of Sheikh Salim Chisti is
celebrated in the month of Ramzan, a great event for
devotees. |

The Craftsmanship
of Itmad-ud-daulah foreshadows that of Taj Mahal. The
marble tomb was created by Emperor Jahangir's queen Nur

inlay work on marble, so characteristic of the Taj |

houses the samadhi of the founder of the Radha Swami
faith, 'Swami Maharaj' is a majestic building, built of
pure white marble. The most impressive features of the

Patna Bird
Sanctuary (54 km) |

Located in the
Jalesar town of Etah District, the Patna Bird Sanctuary
is spread over an area of 108 hectares. Over 300
different species of exotic birds cluster here during
the breeding season in winter months. The interwined
date trees convert the sanctuary scenically into a mini
