Q-1.What was the reason behind your inclination towards writing?
A-1. I brought up in a very modern family. Where reading books and viewing cinemas ware regular activity and there were no objections from parent’s side. So my interest was in Literature and cinema from starting. While making of Tesari Ankha(Third Eye) I stay with Raj kapoor with my Friend Shailendra. In 1977 joined new production company. I also produce few movie (Shayad, Harjai, Kanhaiya), worked with RK Studio and work as distributor. That time meet to Saleem saheb. In total I always attached to the bollywood and as student of English literature I got interested towards writing.
Q-2.Your comments come on Indian movies or tell us that Indian movies are going in to which direction?
A-2. Due to Liberalization and Globalization very fast social changes has taken place in our society like coming up of Multiplexes and improvisation of Single screen cinemas. Entertainment was always a part of cinema but a social commitment and social experiment we can see in new movies like Wednesday, Bure fase obama, Tere bin Laden etc.
Q-3.Reality shows are most seen by TV audience. Any comments on Reality shows?
A-3. These programs are of very high talent, very nice and tough competition. Somewhere new generation become popular and star but these shows are diverting their talent and that’s why they devote very little time to Practice (Riyaz) and even parents are exploiting their childhood.
Q-4.Apart from movie would you like to share views on Jan Lokpal Bill?
A-4. I am strongly agreed that corruption is on high and the problem is of money and moral values. I feel that only laws cannot eradicate corruption so a cultural revolution must be there to re-establish society.
Q-5.how was your stay in the Jaipur?
A-5. It was very nice I liked everything and the food items were very delicious.
Q-6.What is your message to the youth of the country?
A-6. Go for your purpose and achieve your aim. Youth are very well informed but they are lacking in sense of history and literature. Youth are too ambitious and dynamic. My advice is to achieve your goal but don’t forget culture and history of Country.
Cheers
